About Dr. J Seok

J Seok, M.D., Ph.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Seoul National University Hospital, Republic of Korea.

Dr. Seok received his medical and doctoral degrees from Seoul National University College of Medicine. He completed his residency and fellowship training in otorhinolaryngology–head and neck surgery at Seoul National University Hospital, followed by additional fellowship and research appointments at the National Cancer Center.

His clinical expertise is in the surgical management of thyroid and head and neck tumors. Dr. Seok’s research interests focus on integrating emerging technologies into head and neck cancer care, including patient-specific three-dimensional modeling, image-guided and robotic surgery, artificial intelligence–based clinical research, and translational studies of thyroid cancer. His goal is to advance individualized, function-preserving treatment for patients with head and neck cancer.
