🎨 Brunch (Fig. 4), Ulsanbawi (Fig. 6)

This is my last posting of my works. During 4 days, I’ve introduced my oil painting works which I think it is good enough to show. I have been painting nowadays but my painting is so slow that I barely finish it in a month.

아마 이 포스팅이 직접 그린 그림에 대한 마지막 포스팅이 될 것 같습니다. 워낙 하나 완성하는데 한달 이상 걸리는 만큼 더 올릴만한 그림이 부족하네요. 다음 작품이 완성될 때 까지 다시 원래 하던 분야의 포스팅으로 돌아가려 합니다.

A painting above is my 4th work, titled “Brunch”. I want to practice using knife, so I painted background and dishes with brush, and filled the dish with knife.

이 작품은 4번째로 완성했던 ‘브런치’로, 처음으로 나이프를 이용했었습니다. 배경은 붓으로 그렸고, 그러고보니 이 작품 이후에는 나이프는 잡지 않았습니다.

Certainly, It was difficult to express sharp edge or small details. But It must be due to lack of practice.

아무래도 세밀한 묘사와 표현이 어려웠습니다. 나이프의 특징일까 싶기도하나, 연습을 더 하면 좋아질 것 같습니다.

The next painting is “Ulsanbawi”, you can see this scenery when you go to Mt. Seorak (Seoraksan). It is very closed to Pyeongchang in which the winter olympic is held.

아래 그림은 설악산 울산바위입니다. 연애 초반에 동해에 놀러왔다가 길을 잘못들었는데, 먼저 온김에 맨 위까지 올라가자는 아내의 모습에 ‘이 사람 뭔가 다르다’라고 느껴, 이후 결혼으로 오는데 꽤 큰 역할을 했던 곳입니다 ^^
